Kahlan

Kahlan, Miss Mint Green from the litter has been returned to us. Unfortunately her family's schedule changed and they were unable to offer her the time she needed.
Kahlan is a very active dog, and needs a job. She is very affectionate and loving. When asked if there were any concerns, her family told us that she was perfect, Kahlan did nothing wrong with the exception of being an early riser. Home raised, with three children, she is crate trained and has basic obedience training. For now, she will remain with us, but she may become available in the future to an approved home.

Kahlan Update: Wonderful news! Kahlan's owners have been able to take Kahlan back into their home. She spent some time with us, got her schedule worked out, and shortly after the first of the year, returned to her family. Last report is that she is doing well.
Congratulations Kahlan!

Whisper Softly.....

Shhhhhh, I was trying to sleep, here in the cool grass.

Kahlan

This is Kahlan, the Mint girl. Can you believe how much she has grown?
She looks like her Grandma Allie in the face and eyes, which is a good thing.
Kahlan celebrated the Fourth of July by hanging with her humans and watching fireworks.

Introducing Mia

Miss Burgandy has found a wonderful home with a loving family. Now residing in IL, she has been named Mia. Mia is a name that just fits her perfectly! We wish her and her new family years of happiness together!

Put on a Happy Face!

Miss Burgandy is one very happy puppy, and is still looking for her special person to give her a home. She has a medium-soft temperament, so does not need to be harshly corrected, and is very willing to please. She is a very quick learner, and follows you everywhere. She snuggles and cuddles, and just wants to be with you always. She will be awesome with children and could easily become a therapy dog.

I am such a happy, loving girl!

Too Cute for Words!

Only two of us left, still looking for our forever homes....
Both Burgandy girl and Yellow girl are wonderful, loving pups. They are people oriented, very voice responsive, will be easy to train and easy to love as they are both cuddlers as well. Solid medium/medium soft temperaments will make these pups adaptive to most any situation.
Yellow girl, the smaller of the two, has a bit more confidence so will go off exploring but returns quickly with a call.
Burgandy girl is a big girl and remains by your side all of the time, only wanting you to be happy.
At their age of 11 weeks, they are at the perfect stage for house-training and bonding to their new families. For more information, please contact us.

Miss Julie Ann arrives in Florida

This week, Miss Orange aka Miss Julie Ann was getting ready for her big trip to Florida. She was to the vets for her health certification so she was allowed onto the plane. Everything checked out fine and she was off. A call this evening and I have been updated with a huge compliment. Julie is doing so wonderful. I have been told that she is welcoming and friendly and loves everyone. She left Pittsburgh and had to be switched to another airplane in Atlanta. She never got sick once or arrived messy. She arrived as sweet smelling as she was when she left.
Her new owners are thrilled with their new pup, and said she is more beautiful in person, that her pictures did not do her justice!

Congratulations to Miss Julie Ann and her new owners. We wish them years of wonderful experiences together.

Seven Weeks Old and Growing Fast!

Look at us grow! We are getting big and have so much fun playing and exploring. We love to lay in the cool grass, chase one another, play with the pinecones we find, and just have fun being puppies! Watch below at a day in our lives!

Five weeks old

Easter Sunday: The babies are already five weeks old! We finally had beautiful weather and could get them outside for their first adventure. They had a blast, and the best fun was first, watching the leaves dance on the breeze, and second, chasing those leaves! They are still getting their coordination about them, so it was quite amusing to watch.

Sera

Sera needed an emergency spay on Friday. Apparently her uterus never completely contracted, causing her to continue to bleed. Thankfully, our bond is extreme, I sensed there was something wrong and insisted that the vets see her immediately. She is home now, doing fine and has resumed being the "Super Mom"!

The Babies are 3 1/2 weeks old!

Wow, where did the time go? Look at us now, how big we are already! Our eyes are open, we can see and hear, we bark and growl, play and pull each others ears and tails. Mom has been so good to us, feeding us well and keeping us clean. And now we have started on solid foods that we slurp out of dish. YUM!

Two week old pictures

Pictures taken at 2 weeks and 2 days, these babies are huge! We are starting to see a hint of coat types: Purple girl and Yellow girl will be plush. Orange girl and Red girl will be smooth. The rest are too hard to tell yet. I am so loving this litter, to watch them grow day by day, they are everything I was hoping for. Allie grand-daughters and one grand-son! Of course Miss Sera gets much credit too, she is still the super mom keeping her babies spotless and well fed.

Newborns

Birth and life is truly a miracle. Watching these babies come into the world, taking their first breath, suckling the first time, snuggling together for comfort, is all such a blessing. This litter is very special to us. We have been graced with Allie grand-puppies, 7 girls and 1 boy.
All beautiful sables, all around one pound at birth, and all little miracles.

Skye/Sera: The puppies are here!

March 8, 2009: The puppies arrived! Six hours of delivery and all 8 babies arrived weighing in at approx 1 lb. It was an easy delivery for Sera, she is the perfect "super mom".
Seven girls and one boy, all beautfiul rich colored sables. We are expecting both plush and smooth coats in this litter. And talk about some awesome, giant smooths! With Sera as their dam and 2xGV Allie as their grand-dam, these smoothies will be incredible!
